What this site is
NFLTossStats.com is an independent fan site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League (NFL) or any of its member clubs. It exists to answer one specific, oddly-hard-to-find question — who wins the coin toss, how often, and what teams do with it — for every team, every season, every game type.
Where the data comes from
Every coin toss result comes from official NFL GSIS game books — the league’s own post-game statistical record for each game. Coverage is cross-checked season by season against the full schedule to catch missing or misfiled games, rather than assuming a downloaded file is complete just because it exists.
How often it updates
Pages refresh on a 24-hour cycle, so results from a game typically show up here within a day of being filed.

All 32 active NFL franchises, every season present in GSIS records, across preseason, regular season, postseason, and overtime tosses.
